If you are driving to Scout Camp Trailhead from anywhere within Smith Rock State Park, start by heading south on the main park road. Follow the park road until you reach the entrance of the park. Once you exit the park, turn left onto SW 1st Street. Continue on SW 1st Street, which will turn into Smith Rock Way. Drive until you reach the intersection with SW Scout Camp Trail. Turn left onto SW Scout Camp Trail. Keep driving until you see the sign for Scout Camp Trailhead, which will be on your left. There is no parking fee at Scout Camp Trailhead.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus to Redmond, Oregon. From Redmond, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft to Smith Rock State Park.
