From the main entrance of Smith Rock State Park, head east on NW Smith Rock Way. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Highway 97. Turn left onto Highway 97 South. After approximately 3 miles, take the exit for Highway 126 East toward Prineville. Continue on Highway 126 for about 8 miles until you reach the sign for Steelhead Falls. Turn left onto the road leading to the Steelhead Falls Trailhead. Follow the road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area.
