Car
If you're driving from Medford, take I-5 North to Exit 30 for OR-62 East towards Crater Lake. Continue on OR-62 and merge onto OR-97 North. Take the exit for US-20 East towards Bend. Follow US-20 East until you reach Bend, then take the exit for NE Hwy 20. Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint will be on your right at 1310 NE Hwy 20, Bend, OR 97701. Be aware that parking is free.
Public Transportation
From Medford, take the Rogue Valley Transportation District bus (Route 40) to Ashland. Transfer to the bus that goes to Bend (check for schedules as they may vary). Once in Bend, use the local transit system (Cascade East Transit) to reach the vicinity of Pilot Butte. You may need to walk approximately 1 mile from the nearest bus stop on NE 3rd Street to reach the viewpoint. Ensure you check the local transit schedules for any fare requirements.
Rideshare

Follow the bike lane to Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint. The ride is approximately 1.5 miles and offers beautiful views along the way.
