If you're driving from Roseburg, take OR-138 E for about 34 miles. You'll pass through the charming town of Idleyld Park. After crossing the Umpqua River bridge, turn left onto NF-3401 (Umpqua Hot Springs Road). Continue on NF-3401 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the parking area for Umpqua Hot Springs. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding in some sections. There is no fee for parking.

For those relying on public transportation, start by taking a bus from Roseburg to Idleyld Park. Check the local transit schedules for routes and times, as services may be limited. Once you arrive in Idleyld Park, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the Umpqua Hot Springs parking area on NF-3401, as public transport does not go directly to the hot springs. From the parking area, it's a short 0.5-mile hike to the hot springs. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear as the trail can be uneven.
