Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown The Dalles, head east on E 2nd St toward Cherry Heights Rd. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 6th St. Turn left onto E 6th St and walk north for about 0.3 miles. You will come to a bus stop for the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) on E 6th St. Board the CAT bus heading to Hood River, which should be labeled on the front of the bus. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off the bus at the Hood River City Hall stop. From there, walk south on 1st St for about 0.2 miles, then turn left onto Oak St. Continue walking on Oak St for about 0.1 miles until you reach 416 Oak St #4, where the Fruit Loops Art Center is located.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the downtown area and head east on E 2nd St. Follow the road as it becomes the Historic Columbia River Highway and enjoy the scenic ride. Keep an eye out for bike lanes and paths that will guide you along the way. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach Hood River. Once you arrive in Hood River, navigate to Oak St by turning left onto 1st St, then continue to Oak St. The Fruit Loops Art Center will be located at 416 Oak St #4. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking rules.

  From The Dalles, you can take the Columbia Area Transit (CAT) bus directly to Hood River.
