The bus operates regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Hood River stop closest to Port Marina Drive. From there, walk east along E Port Marina Dr for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Riddle Route starting location at 300 E Port Marina Dr.

If you have a bike, start at The Dalles and head east on the Historic Columbia River Highway. Follow the bike path along the river, which offers scenic views. Continue for about 25 miles until you reach Hood River. Once in Hood River, turn right onto E Port Marina Dr. Continue on this road for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at Riddle Route starting location at 300 E Port Marina Dr.

For a walking route, start from The Dalles downtown area and walk east along 2nd St until you reach the Columbia River. Continue along the riverfront park path, taking in the views. After approximately 3 miles, you will reach Hood River.
