Getting There

• Public Bus

  From The Dalles, you can take the Columbia Area Transit bus service. Board either the Route 1 or Route 2 bus at the nearest bus stop to your location. Make sure to check the bus schedule for exact times. You will need to get off at the Hood River stop, which is near the intersection of 2nd Street and Oak Street. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Stave & Stone Winery. Head east on Oak Street, then turn left onto 1st Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Fletcher Drive. Turn right onto Fletcher Drive, and the winery will be on your left at 3827 Fletcher Dr.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in The Dalles. Once you have your bike, head east on E 3rd Street toward Cherry Heights Road. Continue onto Mt. Hood Highway (US-30) and follow the bike paths leading toward Hood River. The ride is approximately 20 miles, and you'll enjoy scenic views along the way. When you arrive in Hood River, turn onto Fletcher Drive, and Stave & Stone Winery will be at 3827 Fletcher Dr on your left.

• Walking

  If you're up for a long walk, it’s about a 20-mile trek from The Dalles to Hood River. Start by heading east on E 3rd Street toward Cherry Heights Road. Continue straight onto Mt. Hood Highway (US-30), following the road signs toward Hood River. The walk will take you through beautiful landscapes and alongside the Columbia River. Once you reach Hood River, turn left onto Fletcher Drive after you cross the bridge, and the winery will be at 3827 Fletcher Dr on your left.
