If you're starting from downtown The Dalles, head north on East 2nd Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with East 6th Street. Turn right on East 6th Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue walking until you reach the banks of the Columbia River. From here, you can follow the riverbank to the west, which will lead you towards The Dalles Bridge. You'll eventually reach the bridge, which crosses over to Dallesport, WA.
