Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Umpqua Valley, head east on OR-138 E. Continue on OR-138 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with US-97 N. Take the exit onto US-97 N and follow it for about 20 miles. Take the exit toward Crescent. After exiting, turn left onto Crescent Cutoff Rd and then continue onto Diamond Lake Blvd. Follow the signs to Diamond Creek Falls, which is approximately 10 miles down the road. There is no entry fee for accessing the falls.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Diamond Creek Falls via public transportation, you would first need to take a bus from Umpqua Valley to the nearest bus station, which is in Klamath Falls. From Klamath Falls, take a bus heading to Crescent. Once in Crescent, you can either taxi or arrange for a rideshare service to take you the remaining 10 miles to Diamond Creek Falls. Be aware of bus schedules as they may vary, and it's advisable to check for any current routes or changes.

• Hiking

  If you are already in the area and prefer a hiking option, you could park near Crescent and take a trail that leads to Diamond Creek Falls. Ensure to check local maps for trail access points. The hike may take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on your pace. It is recommended to wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring water. Also, be cautious of wildlife, as there are reports of black bears in the area.
