From La Grande, OR, take I-84 E for about 30 miles. Exit onto OR-204 E towards Elgin and continue for approximately 18 miles. Turn left onto OR-82 N and follow for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Union. In Union, follow signs to OR-82 E towards Baker City. After about 10 miles, turn right onto Diamond Road (Forest Road 73). Continue on Diamond Road for roughly 12 miles, then turn left onto Kiger Gorge Overlook Road.
