From the center of Harney Basin, head south on US-395 S toward Diamond, OR. Continue for approximately 30 miles. As you approach the town of Diamond, turn left onto Diamond Lane, which is a gravel road. Follow Diamond Lane for about 2 miles until you see signs for the Kiger Mustang Viewing Area. The viewing area is located at the end of the road. Please note that the road may be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Once in Burns, you can rent a car from one of the local car rental services. From Burns, head south on US-395 S towards Diamond, OR. Continue for about 30 miles, and then turn left onto Diamond Lane. Follow this gravel road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Kiger Mustang Viewing Area. Be aware of rental car policies regarding gravel roads.
