Car
If you're starting your journey in La Grande, head west on I-84. Continue on I-84 for approximately 25 miles until you reach Exit 265 for US-30 W toward Baker City. Merge onto US-30 W and continue for about 20 miles. Take a right onto Lytle Blvd in Vale. Follow Lytle Blvd for about 1 mile, and you will find the Keeney Pass Interpretive Site on your left. There is no entrance fee to access the site.
Car from Baker City
From Baker City, head east on I-84. Take Exit 265 for US-30 W toward Vale. Merge onto US-30 W and continue for about 20 miles. Turn right onto Lytle Blvd in Vale. Follow Lytle Blvd for about 1 mile, and the Keeney Pass Interpretive Site will be on your left. No fees are required to visit the site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus to either La Grande or Baker City. From La Grande, you can rent a car or use a local taxi service to reach Keeney Pass Interpretive Site. From Baker City, you can do the same. Please note that public transport options may be limited, so check schedules ahead of time. The site itself does not have public transportation stops nearby, so a car or taxi is necessary from either bus station.
