There is no admission fee to visit the Vista House, but you may incur costs for gas based on your vehicle's consumption.

    To reach Vista House using public transportation, first take a Greyhound or local bus from Union County to Portland, Oregon. Once in Portland, you can use the TriMet light rail service (MAX Blue Line) to get to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus service that operates between Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. Make sure to check the schedule on the Columbia Gorge Express website for specific departure times. The bus will drop you off at the Vista House.
