From Joseph, Oregon, head south on OR-82 for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with County Road 487. Turn left onto County Road 487 and continue for approximately 11 miles. This road takes you along the Imnaha River with beautiful views. Be cautious as the road is narrow and winding. After about 11 miles, you'll arrive at the Dug Bar area, which is located near Imnaha, OR 97842. Parking is available, but check for any access restrictions depending on the season.

If you are in Enterprise, Oregon, start on OR-82 heading south. Continue on OR-82 for about 20 miles then turn left onto County Road 487. Follow the same directions as above to reach Dug Bar.

Once in Joseph, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Dug Bar, as public transportation does not extend directly to this remote area.
