    Car

    From any point in Wasco County, head towards The Dalles. If you are near downtown The Dalles, take E 2nd St and head east. Turn right onto Union St which becomes Bret Clodfelter Way. Follow Bret Clodfelter Way for approximately 1.5 miles, and you will find The Dalles Dam Visitor Center on your right at 3545 Bret Clodfelter Way. Parking is available at the Visitor Center.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transit, you may take the local bus service (The Dalles Transit) to get to the nearest bus stop to The Dalles Dam. Check the schedule for routes that pass through downtown The Dalles. Once you arrive at a nearby bus stop, it is recommended to walk approximately 1 mile to the Visitor Center by heading east on E 2nd St, then turning right onto Union St which becomes Bret Clodfelter Way.

    Walking

    If you are already in The Dalles and prefer to walk, start from downtown and head east on E 2nd St. Continue straight until you reach Union St, then turn right. Follow Union St as it transitions into Bret Clodfelter Way. The Visitor Center will be located on your right after about 1.5 miles. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and consider the weather.
