Car
If you are driving from Hillsboro, head east on US-26 E towards Portland. Merge onto I-405 N and then onto I-84 E. Continue on I-84 E for approximately 60 miles. Take exit 87 for The Dalles toward US-197 N. After exiting, turn right onto US-197 N. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach The Dalles. Once in The Dalles, turn left onto W 13th St. The Wasco County Historical Society will be on your right at 300 W 13th St.
Public Transportation
To reach the Wasco County Historical Society using public transportation, start by taking a TriMet bus from your location in Washington County to the Sunset Transit Center. From there, transfer to the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which will take you directly to The Dalles. Once you arrive in The Dalles, you can either walk or take local transit. If walking, head east on W 3rd St towards W 13th St, then turn left onto W 13th St. The museum will be on your left at 300 W 13th St. Note that the Columbia Gorge Express may have a fare of approximately $10 for a one-way trip.
