Getting There

Merge onto US-26 E and continue for about 20 miles. Then, take the exit for Joseph, OR and follow the signs toward Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site. The site is located at Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site, Joseph, OR 97846, approximately 2 miles from the exit.

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location to the nearest major city bus terminal. From there, take a bus to La Grande, OR. Upon arrival in La Grande, transfer to a regional bus service that goes to Joseph, OR. Once you arrive in Joseph, you can either walk or take a taxi to Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site, which is about 2 miles from the bus stop.
