Getting There
Walking
Start at the Abbottabad city center. Head towards the main road, M1, and walk north. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mansehra Road. Turn left onto Mansehra Road and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Bunkot. Once you get to the Bunkot area, ask locals for directions to Wahid Waterfall, as they can guide you to the specific trailhead. The waterfall is located approximately 2 km from the Bunkot village.
Public Transport (Rickshaw)
From the Abbottabad city center, find a rickshaw stand and take a rickshaw to Bunkot. Make sure to inform the rickshaw driver that you want to go to Wahid Waterfall. The journey should take around 30 minutes. Once you reach Bunkot, ask the locals for directions to the waterfall, which is about a 2 km walk from the village.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer a more direct route, you can hike from the center of Abbottabad towards Wahid Waterfall. Head towards the hills to the north of the city, following trails that lead towards Bunkot. This route may take longer, approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace, but offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
