From the center of Chitral, head towards the main bazaar. Follow the main road towards the west, passing by local shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach the point where the road splits towards the bridge over the Chitral River. Cross the bridge and keep walking along the main road heading north. You will pass by several small villages. After about 4-5 kilometers, you will reach a signpost indicating the direction to Upper Chitral. Follow the path marked towards Disk, which will lead you to Upper Chitral.

From the central bus station in Chitral, look for a bus or a van heading towards Upper Chitral. The vehicles frequently depart, especially in the morning. Inform the driver that your destination is Disk, Upper Chitral. The journey will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you reach Disk, you can explore the area on foot or ask locals for further directions to specific sites of interest.

Bicycle

If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can rent a bicycle from local shops in Chitral city. Start your ride from the city center, heading towards the main bazaar, then follow the same route as the walking directions.
