Car
If you're driving, make your way to Raikot. From there, take the N-15 highway towards Gilgit. After about 5 kilometers, you will see a sign for 'Fairy Meadows' leading to a dirt road. Follow this road for about 14 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the base of Nanga Parbat. Note that the road is rugged and not suitable for all vehicles. Once you park, you will need to hire a jeep to take you to the trek's starting point.

Public Transportation
To reach Fairy Meadows via public transport, catch a bus or a van from Islamabad to Raikot. This journey typically takes around 12-15 hours. Once you arrive in Raikot, you can find local transport options such as jeep services that will take you to the start of the Fairy Meadows trek. Be prepared for possible delays, and it’s advisable to leave early in the day. The jeep ride costs approximately PKR 3000-5000 per person.

After reaching the jeep drop-off point, you will need to trek for about 2-3 hours to reach Fairy Meadows Cottages. The trail is well-marked and offers stunning views of Nanga Parbat.
