If you are traveling by car from the center of Gandhara, head northwest on the main road towards Swabi. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Hund. Once in Hund, look for signposts directing you to the Hund Museum. The museum is located at Ambar Hund, approximately 2 kilometers from the main road. Parking is available near the museum entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Hund Museum using public transportation from Gandhara, first take a bus or a shared taxi heading towards Swabi. The bus station in Gandhara is located near the town center. After about 30-40 minutes, get off at Swabi. From Swabi, you can find another bus or a shared taxi to Hund. The fare for the bus from Gandhara to Swabi is approximately PKR 100-150, and from Swabi to Hund, it is about PKR 50-70. Once you arrive in Hund, the museum is about 2 kilometers away; you can either walk or hire a local rickshaw for a small fee.
Rickshaw
If you prefer to take a rickshaw from the bus stop in Hund to the museum, you can easily find one waiting nearby. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around PKR 100-150 for the short ride. The rickshaw will take you directly to Hund Museum, located at Ambar Hund.
