Car
If you're driving from any location in Gandhara, head southwest and take the N-55 National Highway towards Larkana. Continue on N-55 for approximately 90 kilometers. As you approach Larkana, follow signs for Mohenjo Daro, which is located about 30 kilometers from Larkana. You will take the road leading towards Mohenjo Daro, and the archaeological site will be well-marked as you get closer. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.
Public Bus
For those opting to use public transportation, you can catch a bus from Larkana to Mohenjo Daro. Head to the main bus terminal in Larkana, which is easily accessible from anywhere in the city. Look for buses that specifically mention Mohenjo Daro as their destination. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes and costs around 50 PKR (Pakistani Rupees). Once you arrive at the Mohenjo Daro bus stop, follow signs to the entrance of the site, which is a short walk from the stop.
Rickshaw
If you're already in Larkana and prefer a quicker option, you can hire a rickshaw to take you directly to Mohenjo Daro. Just tell the driver 'Mohenjo Daro,' and they will know the location. The ride will take about 30 minutes and should cost approximately 300-500 PKR, depending on your bargaining skills. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
