If you are driving from Gilgit city, head south on Shahr-e-Quaid-e-Azam road. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the Ibex PSO Petrol Station. Bab-e-Gilgit is located just next to the petrol station at the coordinates V9RC+342. Look for signs indicating the historical landmark as you approach.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a local minibus or shared taxi from Gilgit city towards the Skardu Road. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Ibex PSO Petrol Station. The fare is typically around PKR 50-100 per person. Once you arrive at the petrol station, Bab-e-Gilgit is a short walk away at the coordinates V9RC+342.
Walking
If you find yourself near the Ibex PSO Petrol Station, you can reach Bab-e-Gilgit by foot. Simply walk towards the landmark, which is located adjacent to the petrol station. It's a brief walk of about 200 meters from the station.
