Car
To reach Kirgaswashk by car, start from Gilgit city. Take the Karakoram Highway (KKH) towards Hunza. After approximately 100 kilometers, you will reach the town of Karimabad. From Karimabad, take the Batura Track, which is a well-marked road. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you arrive at the GP7W+C87 coordinates. The drive may take around 3-4 hours, depending on road conditions.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, catch a minibus or a shared taxi from Gilgit to Karimabad. The fare is usually around PKR 400-600 per person. Upon reaching Karimabad, hire a local taxi or jeep to take you to Kirgaswashk via the Batura Track. This part of the journey will cost about PKR 2000-3000 depending on negotiation and the vehicle type. The total travel time, including waiting for transport, may take 5-6 hours.
Trekking (Optional)
For the adventurous, a trekking route from Karimabad to Kirgaswashk is available. This trek takes you through stunning landscapes and can take 2-3 days, depending on your pace.
