Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Gilgit, take the Karakoram Highway (KKH) towards Hunza. The distance is approximately 100 km, which will take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Passu, continue for another 15 km until you reach the turnoff for Altit Fort. The fort is located just 2 km from the main road, follow the signs to Altit. Parking is available near the fort.

    From Gilgit, you can take a bus or minibus towards Hunza. Buses leave regularly throughout the day from the Gilgit bus station. The fare is typically around 500 PKR per person.
