If you are staying in the central area of Gilgit, you can walk to Gilgit Airport. Start at the Gilgit Bazaar and head southwest on the main road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit to Airport Road. Follow Airport Road for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance to Gilgit Airport on your right.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Gilgit. Start from the Gilgit Bazaar, heading southwest on the main road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Airport Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. The airport will be on your right side. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
