From Gilgit, head to the main bus terminal located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Skardu. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours. Inform the bus conductor that you wish to get off at the Astore stop, which is a common drop-off point for visitors heading to Deosai National Park.

Once you arrive at the Astore stop, look for shared jeeps that operate from Astore to Deosai National Park. These jeeps are usually parked near the bus stop. The ride will take about 1-2 hours, depending on road conditions. Ensure you communicate your destination to the driver, as there may be multiple stops along the route.
