Walking
If you are in the city center of Gilgit, start at the Gilgit Bus Terminal. Head south towards the main road (N-35). Walk along the N-35 for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection where you can see 'Karakoram International University' on your right. Continue straight on the N-35 until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto River View Road. Walk along River View Road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see Indus Lodges Gilgit on your left side, indicated by a sign.
Rickshaw
From the central market area in Gilgit, you can hire a rickshaw. Tell the driver to take you to 'Indus Lodges on River View Road'. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will navigate through the main roads towards River View Road. Once you reach River View Road, the Indus Lodges will be on your left.
Public Transport
Find a local bus that heads towards the outskirts of Gilgit. Ask around for the bus heading towards 'Sonikot'. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you are going to 'Indus Lodges'. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will reach a stop near River View Road. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you see Indus Lodges on your left.
