Car
If you are starting from Peshawar, take the N-35 (Grand Trunk Road) towards Islamabad. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards M1 Motorway. Continue on the M1 for about 50 km until you reach the N-35 again. Head towards Swabi and then take the road towards Mardan. From Mardan, follow the signs to the Kohat Road (N-55) and then to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. Once you reach the outskirts of Kohat, follow local signage towards Arkhandai Kandao. The journey should take around 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the road can be winding and steep in places.

From Peshawar, you can take a Daewoo Express or a Faisal Movers bus to Mardan. The bus journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon reaching Mardan, take a local taxi or a rickshaw to reach Kohat Road (N-55). From there, you can either hire a local taxi or find a shared van heading towards Arkhandai Kandao. The total travel time from Mardan to Arkhandai Kandao is about 1.5 hours. Public transport costs vary, expect to pay around PKR 500-800 for the bus and additional costs for local transport.
