Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you're traveling by car, the most common route to reach Hussain Dand from Peshawar is via the N-35 highway (also known as the Grand Trunk Road). Drive northwest towards Mardan and continue on N-35 until you reach the town of Swabi. From Swabi, take the road leading towards Topi and then follow the signs to the village of Hussain Dand. The journey typically takes around 2-3 hours depending on traffic conditions. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition, as some roads may be rough.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Peshawar to Mardan. Buses frequently leave from the main bus terminal in Peshawar, and the fare is generally affordable (around PKR 200-300). Once you reach Mardan, you can catch a local minibus or a shared van towards Swabi. From Swabi, you will need to hire a local taxi to take you to Hussain Dand. Expect to pay around PKR 500-1000 for the taxi ride, which should take about 30-45 minutes.
Taxi or Ride-sharing
If you prefer a more comfortable journey, consider hiring a taxi or using a ride-sharing app (if available in the area). You can book a taxi from Peshawar directly to Hussain Dand. This option is more expensive, with fares typically ranging from PKR 3000-5000, but it offers convenience and flexibility. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or confirm the rate through the app.
