If you're traveling by car, start from Peshawar. Head towards M1 Motorway and take exit 15 towards Nowshera. Continue towards Mardan and then follow signs to Swabi. From Swabi, take the road towards Topi and continue towards the Dandai area. Follow local signs to Shahi Dand. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions.
Public Transportation
To travel by public transport, take a Daewoo bus from Peshawar to Mardan. From Mardan, you can find local mini buses or rickshaws to Swabi. Once in Swabi, look for shared taxis heading towards Topi. Ask the driver to drop you at Dandai, and from there, you can hire a local rickshaw to take you to Shahi Dand. The entire journey may take around 4-5 hours, and costs can vary from PKR 500 to PKR 1500 depending on the mode of transport.

Once you reach the Dandai area, local transport options include motorbikes or rickshaws. You can rent a motorbike or hire a rickshaw to reach the seasonal lake of Shahi Dand. The distance from Dandai to Shahi Dand is about 10-15 kilometers, and traveling by rickshaw may cost around PKR 200-300.
