Getting There

Car
From K2 Base Camp, you will need to return to Skardu first. Take the route back towards Skardu via the same path you came. Once in Skardu, head towards the main road that leads to the town of Sonamarg. The journey from Skardu to Sonamarg will take approximately 6-8 hours depending on road conditions. Once in Sonamarg, you can park your car at the local parking area.

From K2 Base Camp, you will first need to head back to Skardu by any available means (hitchhiking, local transport, or arranged vehicle). After reaching Skardu, you can find a bus or shared taxi heading to Sonamarg. The bus ride will take around 6-8 hours.
