If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Naran in Kaghan Valley. Head south on the Naran-Kaghan Road (N-15) for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at Balakot. From there, continue on the N-15 for another 10 kilometers until you see signs for Maidan Meadows. Turn left onto the unpaved road that leads toward Maidan Meadows. The road may be bumpy, so proceed with caution. After about 8 kilometers, you will arrive at Maidan Meadows, which is a beautiful grassland area surrounded by mountains.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or van from Naran to Balakot. These services run frequently throughout the day and cost around 300 PKR per person. Once you reach Balakot, you will need to hire a local jeep to take you to Maidan Meadows. The jeep ride can cost around 2000-3000 PKR, depending on the negotiation, and it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Maidan Meadows from Balakot. Make sure to confirm the return arrangements with the driver.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to hike to Maidan Meadows, you can start from Naran. The trek is approximately 20 kilometers and takes about 5 to 6 hours. Begin your hike by taking the trail leading south from Naran, following the river. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way. The trail will take you through beautiful landscapes and eventually lead you to Maidan Meadows.
