    If you are traveling by car from Khunjerab Pass to Altit Fort, start by heading south on the Karakoram Highway (N-35). The distance is approximately 270 kilometers. Follow the signs for Gilgit and Hunza. After about 2-3 hours, you will reach the town of Karimabad. From Karimabad, continue towards Altit. The fort is located just a few kilometers from Karimabad, and you will see signs directing you towards Altit Fort. There is a parking area available near the fort.

    For those using public transportation, you can take a bus or a shared van from the Khunjerab Pass area to Karimabad. These services are available throughout the day, but it is advisable to check the latest schedules. The journey to Karimabad will take around 5-6 hours.
