    From Khunjerab Pass, drive south on N-35. Continue on this road for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the Jamalabad area. As you approach Morkhun, look for signs indicating Avgarch Valley. Turn left onto a smaller road leading into Avgarch Valley. The drive should take around 1 hour depending on road conditions.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a bus or shared van from Khunjerab Pass heading towards Gilgit. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Morkhun. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Morkhun, you can hire a local taxi to reach Avgarch Valley. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand and expect to pay around 500 PKR for the short trip into the valley.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, hire a taxi from Khunjerab Pass that can take you straight to Avgarch Valley. This option is more expensive, costing around 3000 to 4000 PKR for a round trip. Make sure to arrange for the driver to wait for you, especially if you plan to return to Khunjerab Pass the same day.
