Car
From Khunjerab Pass, start your journey by driving towards the Hunza Valley. The distance from Khunjerab Pass to Karimabad (where Baltit Fort is located) is approximately 90 kilometers. The drive will take you around 2 to 3 hours depending on road conditions. Follow the main Karakoram Highway (N-35) southbound. As you approach Karimabad, look for signs directing you towards Baltit Fort. Once in Karimabad, park your car in one of the designated areas and proceed on foot to the fort.

Public Transportation - Minibus
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a minibus from Khunjerab Pass to Karimabad. Minibuses often leave from the main point in Khunjerab Pass early in the morning. The fare will be approximately PKR 500 per person. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival in Karimabad, ask the driver or locals for directions to Baltit Fort, which is about a 15-minute walk from the main bus drop-off point.
