Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, Mingora. Take the Swat Motorway (M-16) and head towards Buner District. Once you reach the Buner exit, follow the signs to Char. The coordinates for Char Waterfall are approximately 34.5788° N, 72.3838° E. You can use a GPS app for real-time navigation. Once you reach Char, park your vehicle and walk towards the waterfall, which is a short hike from the main road.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Mingora to Buner. Buses frequently leave from the Mingora bus terminal and the fare is generally around 200 PKR. Upon reaching the Buner bus terminal, you can hire a local taxi or a rickshaw to take you to Char Waterfall. The taxi fare should be approximately 500-700 PKR. Ensure to ask your driver for the best drop-off point to access the waterfall, as it requires some walking from the main road.
Walking
Once you are near Char Waterfall, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer from the nearest drop-off point. The walk can be scenic, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Follow local signs or ask locals for directions to ensure you are heading in the right direction. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.
