Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Peshawar, take the N-35 highway towards Swat. Continue on N-35 for around 160 kilometers until you reach the Mingora area. From Mingora, take the Sowari - Mingora Road (also known as Buner Road) and continue for about 20 kilometers until you reach the Elum Waterfall. Make sure to follow the signs to Buner as you approach the area. Parking is available near the waterfall.

Public Transportation - Bus

From Peshawar, you can take a bus to Swat. Buses depart regularly from the main bus terminal in Peshawar, and the journey to Mingora takes around 4-5 hours. Once you reach Mingora, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Elum Waterfall. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and cost around 500-800 PKR depending on negotiation.

Local Transport - Taxi or Rickshaw

Once in Mingora, you can also opt for a taxi or a rickshaw to reach Elum Waterfall. Taxis are readily available, and the fare will typically range from 500 to 800 PKR. Rickshaws are a cheaper alternative but may take longer and can be slightly uncomfortable due to the terrain.
