The total driving distance is approximately 400 kilometers and will take around 8-10 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. You will pass through towns like Mardan and Swabi. Once you reach Chitral, follow the signs to Kalash Valley, which is around 30 kilometers from Chitral town.

    From Peshawar, you can take a bus to Chitral. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 8-10 hours. Once you reach Chitral, you can hire a local taxi or use a shared jeep to Kalash Valley, which is approximately a 1-hour ride. Be prepared for a bumpy ride as the roads can be rough, and the fare is usually around PKR 500-1000.

    In Chitral, you can find shared jeeps heading to Kalash Valley. These jeeps leave when they are full, so it’s best to arrive early in the morning.
