Car
If you are driving from the central area of Kohistan, take the N-35 (Karakoram Highway) towards Gabrāl. Continue on this road for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the intersection near Gabrāl. From there, turn onto the road leading to Gabrāl. Follow this road for about 15 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the mountains. Look for signs indicating the direction to Badgoi Pass, which is situated approximately 10 kilometers from Gabrāl. The road may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.
Public Transportation
To reach Badgoi Pass using public transportation, start by taking a local bus or van heading towards Gabrāl from your location in Kohistan. The fare typically ranges from PKR 200 to PKR 300 depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Gabrāl, you may need to hire a local taxi or a motorcycle rickshaw to take you to the Badgoi Pass, which is about 10 kilometers away. Taxi fares may vary but expect to pay around PKR 800 to PKR 1200 for the trip. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Hiking
If you are adventurous and enjoy hiking, you can opt to start from Gabrāl and trek to Badgoi Pass. The hike is approximately 10 kilometers uphill and will take about 3 to 4 hours depending on your pace.
