If you are driving from the main town of Kalam, head south on the Kalam road. After approximately 12 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Utror Valley. Turn left at this junction and continue on the Utror road for about 6 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Kundol Lake. As you approach the parking area, which is about 1 kilometer from the lake itself, you may need to park your car. Be aware that the road can be rough and may require a 4x4 vehicle.

Public Transportation
From Kalam, take a local jeep that travels to Utror Valley. You can find these jeeps near the main market area in Kalam. The fare is typically around PKR 500-700 per person. The jeep ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Utror, you will need to hike the remaining 1 kilometer to Kundol Lake. Follow the marked trails and be prepared for a moderate trek with beautiful scenery.

After reaching the Utror parking area, you’ll need to hike to Kundol Lake. The trail is well-marked, but it can be steep and rocky in some sections. The hike will take approximately 30-45 minutes.
