If you are traveling by car, start from the main town in Kohistan. Drive towards the N-15 highway and head northwest for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the town of Dasu. From Dasu, follow the signs for the Thalpan petroglyphs, which are located about 20 kilometers away. The road may get narrow and winding, so drive carefully. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations in remote areas.

For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus or a shared taxi from the main bus terminal in Kohistan to Dasu. The fare is usually around 200 PKR. Once you arrive in Dasu, hire a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to take you to the Thalpan petroglyphs, which is approximately a 20-kilometer ride. The taxi fare might range from 500 to 1000 PKR, depending on your negotiation skills and the vehicle type.
