Follow the signs for Chitral, and keep an eye on your GPS for the most accurate route. The total journey from Dasu to Chitral will take roughly 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon entering Chitral, ask locals for directions to Zhagi Lake, as the last leg of the journey may require navigating smaller roads.

From Kohistan, you can take a bus or shared van to Dasu. These vehicles regularly depart from the central bus station. The fare is usually around 200 to 300 PKR. After reaching Dasu, look for buses heading towards Chitral. The fare for this leg of the trip is approximately 500 PKR. Once you reach Chitral, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw to take you to Zhagi Lake, which may cost around 1000 to 1500 PKR depending on the negotiation.
