Car
If you are driving from Leh, Ladakh, head south on NH1 towards Srinagar. This journey is approximately 1,000 km and can take around 24 hours. Make sure to take breaks at towns like Kargil or Dras. Once you reach Srinagar, continue south on NH44 towards Jammu. From Jammu, take the NH2 towards Amritsar. Finally, take the N-5 road towards Lahore. Keep in mind that you will need to cross the Wagah Border into Pakistan, which may require visa arrangements and customs checks before entering Lahore. Once in Lahore, follow local signage to reach Fort Road, where the Lahore Fort is located.

Public Transportation
Start your journey by taking a bus from Leh to Srinagar. The bus ride takes about 12-14 hours. From Srinagar, you will need to take another bus to Jammu, which takes around 6-8 hours. Once in Jammu, catch a train to Amritsar (approximately 2-3 hours). From Amritsar, you can take a bus or taxi to the Wagah Border. After crossing the border, you can take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to reach Lahore. In Lahore, ask your driver to take you to Fort Road, where the Lahore Fort is located. Ensure you have the necessary travel documents for crossing the border.
