To reach Kaghan Valley from Makra Peak by car, start by heading southwest towards the Naran-Kaghan road. Drive for about 30 km until you reach Balakot. The scenic route offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Once you arrive in Balakot, you will find several signposts directing you to Kaghan Valley. Continue along the road through Balakot, following the signs for approximately 20 km, and you will enter the picturesque Kaghan Valley.

Public Transportation

For those opting for public transportation, you can take a shared van or bus from Makra Peak to Balakot. Shared vans are typically available at local transport hubs. The fare is around 200-300 PKR. Once in Balakot, you can catch another bus heading towards Kaghan Valley. The second leg of the journey may cost an additional 150-200 PKR. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary throughout the day.

Hiking

If you are feeling adventurous and are already in the Makra Peak area, you can consider hiking towards Kaghan Valley. The hike can be challenging and requires a good level of fitness.
