Getting There

Car
From Makra Peak, head south on the Makra Road towards the main N-15 highway. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Balakot. Turn left onto the N-15 highway towards Mansehra. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for Shogran. Follow the road signs leading to Shogran. The drive is scenic but may include steep sections. Parking is available in Shogran.

From Makra Peak, you can take a local bus or van to Balakot. Buses leave frequently from the Makra area. From Balakot, switch to a bus heading towards Mansehra. Once in Mansehra, you can find a van or a shared taxi to Shogran. Ensure to confirm the final stop as some vehicles may not go directly to Shogran but stop at the base of the hill. The total travel time may vary from 2 to 4 hours depending on connections and road conditions.
