If you are traveling by car, head towards the Hunza Valley. From Karimabad, which is a central point in Hunza, take the KKH (Karakoram Highway) towards Gulmit. The distance to Ghulkin is about 25 km. Once you reach Ghulkin, you should look for the signs or ask locals for the Patundas Meadows trailhead, which is located about a 10 km drive from Ghulkin. The road may be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. You can expect to spend around PKR 1000-1500 on fuel for this journey, depending on your vehicle's mileage.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus or minivan from Gilgit to Hunza. Once you arrive in Hunza, you can take a local jeep from Karimabad to Ghulkin. The fare for the jeep ride will usually be around PKR 500-700 per person. After reaching Ghulkin, you will need to hire a local jeep or walk to the Patundas Meadows trail. The jeep ride will cost additional PKR 1000-1500. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand and confirm the return trip arrangement.

For the adventurous, you can trek to Patundas Meadows from Ghulkin. The trek is approximately 5-6 km and will take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure you are well-prepared with enough water, snacks, and a good pair of trekking shoes. The path is well-trodden but can be steep in some sections. This is a free option, but if you are unfamiliar with the area, consider hiring a local guide for about PKR 2000-3000.
