Walking
If you are in the Saddar area, you can reach the Peshawar Museum by walking. Start at the main intersection of Saddar Road and Khyber Bazaar. Head west on Saddar Road, which is a busy street filled with shops and local vendors. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. The museum is located on your right side, opposite the Governor House and Civil Secretariat. Look for the entrance with the sign 'Peshawar Museum'.
Rickshaw
For a quicker option, you can take a rickshaw from any point in Saddar. Simply hail a rickshaw and tell the driver 'Peshawar Museum' or show them the address: 'Saddar Road opposite Governor House'. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The fare is typically around 50-100 PKR, so be sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.
Local Bus
You can also opt for local buses that run through Saddar. Look for a bus heading towards the Peshawar Museum or Governor House. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is usually around 20 PKR. Once you get to the nearest stop, which will likely be near the Civil Secretariat, disembark and walk a short distance to the museum. The museum will be visible from the bus stop.
