If you are traveling by car, start from Islamabad city center and head towards the N-5 National Highway. Follow the N-5 towards Rawalpindi. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards the M-1 Motorway. Continue on the M-1 for about 15 km until you reach the Fateh Jang interchange. Exit onto the Fateh Jang Road, and then take a right turn onto the Pharwala Road. Continue straight on Pharwala Road for about 10 km until you reach Pharwala Fort. There is limited parking available near the fort.

To reach Pharwala Fort via public transport, take a bus or van from Islamabad to Fateh Jang. These can be found at various bus stations in the city, such as the Faizabad Interchange. The fare is typically around PKR 100-150. Once you reach Fateh Jang, you will need to hire a local taxi or rickshaw to take you to Pharwala Fort, which is approximately 10 km away. The taxi fare should range from PKR 300-500, depending on your bargaining skills.

For those looking for a more adventurous route, consider renting a motorbike in Islamabad. Rental services are available for around PKR 1000-1500 per day. From Islamabad, follow the same route towards Fateh Jang and Pharwala Road as mentioned above.
