Getting There

• Car

  If traveling by car, you can take the M2 Motorway if you're coming from Lahore or other cities in Punjab. From the M2, merge onto the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M1) and follow the signs for Islamabad. Once you reach Islamabad, take the Srinagar Highway. Follow the signs for Shakarparian Hills. The Pakistan Monument is located in Shakarparian Hills, on the left side of the road. Parking is available near the monument.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, you can take a Daewoo Express bus from major cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, or Multan to Islamabad. Upon arrival at the Daewoo terminal in Islamabad, take a local taxi or ride-sharing service to reach Pakistan Monument. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around PKR 300-500 for the taxi fare.

• Public Transportation (Metro)

  In Islamabad, you can also use the Metro Bus service. Board the Metro Bus from any of the key bus stations (such as Peshawar Mor or Aabpara). Travel to the station closest to the Pakistan Monument, which is the 'Saddar' station. From there, you can take a local taxi or rickshaw to reach the monument, which is about 5-10 minutes away. The Metro Bus fare is around PKR 30-50.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  If you are already in Islamabad and prefer a direct route, you can use a taxi or ride-sharing service (like Careem or Uber). Simply enter 'Pakistan Monument' as your destination. The ride will typically cost between PKR 250-600 depending on your starting point within the city and the time of day.
